Elsie June Lindsey

Elsie June Lindsey, 80, of Marmaduke passed away Friday, Sept. 2, 2022, at her home.

Elsie was born in St. Louis, Mo., to Lobert and Amelia Turner King and was a homemaker. She adored her family very much and they always came first in her life. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren and she loved all of her babies as she always said. Elsie enjoyed sewing and especially loved to make quilts.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Norman Lindsey; daughters, Carolyn Herron and Glenda Lindsey; brother, William King; and sisters, Pearline Fleming and Marjorie Neal.

Elsie is survived by her children, Angela Page and her husband Jamie of Marmaduke, Norman Lindsey, Jr. and his wife Linda of Luxora, Ann Kelley and her husband Jackie of Leachville, Connie Herron and her husband William of Paragould and April Martin and her husband Jason of Rector; 14 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren; sister, Anna Lindsey of Athens, Ala.; and son-in-law, Henry Herron of Luxora.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Sept. 7, at 2 p.m. in the Cobb Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Aaron Neugebauer officiating. Burial will follow in Sandy Ridge Cemetery.
