Cleo Turnbo Hatley

Cleo Turnbo Hatley departed this life Thursday, Aug. 11, 2022, at the age of 97. She was born in Steele, Mo., to Oscar and Corda Turnbo. After marriage, Cleo moved to Blytheville. There she worked 35 years at Farmers Bank and Trust insurance department. At the time of her death, she was residing in Jonesboro.

Cleo was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Garvin Hatley; her parents, Oscar and Corda Turnbo; four brothers, Oscar Ira, Kenny Albert, Max Edward and Noel Dean; and three sisters, Irene Slater, Mattie Taylor and Ruby Hatley.

She leaves behind her daughter, Mary Jo Hatley, and three sisters, Bobbie Gray, Wanda Kellems and Barbara Rose of Steele.

Burial was in Mt. Zion Cemetery in Steele with Powell Funeral Home of Steele in charge of arrangements.
