Joan Culbreath Campbell

Joan Culbreath Campbell, 84, of Marked Tree, passed away Aug. 14, 2022, at Three Rivers Nursing Home in Marked Tree. She was a member of Marked Tree Church of God, a very active member of Marked Tree Senior Citizens Center, did a weekly article in the Marked Tree paper covering the Senior Life Center of Marked Tree and worked 50 plus years as a production worker.

Ms. Campbell was born Jan. 22, 1938, in Bay Village to John and Emma Arbuckle Culbreath. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Lonnie Culbreath and Billy Culbreath; one sister, Maddie Rhodes; and one granddaughter, Tina Campbell.

She is survived by the love of her life, John Campbell of Marked Tree; one son, Johnny (Jo Ann) Campbell of Tyronza; two daughters, Rita (Robbie) Pourchot of Pearland, Texas, and Tabatha (Mitchell) Burcham of Lepanto; one sister, Alva Mae Young of Trumann; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; a host of other relatives, special friends and neighbors.

Visitation will be Friday, Aug. 19, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. with the funeral at 1 p.m. at Marked Tree Church of God in Marked Tree. Burial will be at Tyronza Cemetery in Tyronza with Bro. Patrick Tucker officiating. The family requests any donations go to Marked Tree Church of God or Marked Tree Senior Citizens Center. Wilson Funeral Home in Tyronza will be in charge of arrangements.
