Shirley Ann Mangrum

Shirley Ann Mangrum, 86, of Paragould passed from this life March 19, 2022 at Greene Acres Nursing Home in Paragould. She was born on June 28, 1936, in Leachville to the late Rancel William and Elsie Lowrean Smith Hicks. Shirley was a homemaker and a member of Brown's Chapel Baptist Church. Shirley loved animals, spending time with her grandchildren and great- grandchildren, and working with her flowers. Shirley was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Randy Mangrum and one sister, Judy Oberhauser.

She is survived by her loving husband, Billy Gene Mangrum of Paragould; children, Dennis Mangrum and wife Linda of Paragould, Johnathan William Mangrum and wife Sherry of Jonesboro, Lori Ann McMinn and husband Chris of Pocahontas; grandchildren, Shannon (Jeff) Hudson, Jamie (Doug) Kossak, Justin (Dakota) Mangrum, Lindsey (Brian) Adams, Sara (Tacker) Colbert, Levi (Jordan) McMinn; great-grandchildren, Kinsey (Tristen) Kendall, Londyn Kossak, Remington Kossak, Jason Mangrum, Dean Mangrum; one great-great-grandchild, Ella Kendall; one sister, Karen Hiser of Paragould, one brother, R.L. (Nancy) Hicks of Florida; along with a host of other special relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 22, from 1-2 p.m. at the Mitchell Funeral Home Temporary Chapel in Paragould. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. with Bro. Royce Boling officiating. Burial will be held at Woods Chapel Cemetery at a later date.
