Suspect sought in bank robbery

Captain Preston Williams with the Mississippi County Sheriff's Department released photos this morning of the suspect who committed an armed robbery at a Manila Bank Tuesday morning.

A male suspect walked into the Manila Southern Bancorp on Highway 18 at 9:30 a.m. and demanded money. The suspect then left the area on foot. Captain Williams said they are fairly positive, the suspect left Manila in a vehicle.

The investigation, by the Mississippi County Sheriff's Department, assisted by Manila Police Department, is ongoing. If anyone recognizes this suspect, contact the Sheriff's Department.
