Daniel Perez, 35, of Manila, passed away Sunday, March 13, 2022, from injuries received in an auto accident near Manila. Born in Blytheville, he was a lifelong Manila area resident and had attended Manila Public Schools. Daniel served nine years in the U.S. Army as an Airborne Ranger and was a combat veteran of the Iraq War as a Cannon Crewmember in Company A 1st Battalion. He was a member of the Templo Pentecostes Puerta Del Cielo and had also attended the First Assembly of God in Manila. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Moises Perez and Ernest Perez.

Survivors include his parents, Ernesto and Adela Perez of Manila; three brothers, Carlos Perez of Jonesboro, Josue Perez of Manila and Jacob Perez of Manila; eight sisters, Carmen Perez of Edmond, Okla., Lisa Beard of St. Petersburg, Fla., Ruth Perez of Perry, Okla., Diana Campbell of Stillwater, Okla., Adela Lopez of Manila, Marisol Perez of Leachville, Maribel Perez of Bentonville and Marylou Curtis of Jonesboro.

Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Friday, March, 18, at the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Manila with Rev. James Chipman officiating. Burial with Military Honors will follow in Manila Cemetery.
