Margaret Flowers

Margaret Flowers, 79, of Joiner passed away March 6, 2022, at her residence. She was a retired family service supervisor and a member of First Baptist Church in Joiner. Ms. Flowers was born July 9, 1942, in Joiner to Jim Henry and Louise Robinson Cooper. She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Aquaino Ledon Flowers; one brother, Jim Henry Cooper; and one grandson, Verdell “Jake” Kimbrough.

She is survived by one son, Taras “Tikki” Flowers of Wichita, Kan.; one honorary son, Roy Bernard Flowers of Jonesboro; one daughter, Tracey Flowers (Billy) Bell of Osceola; honorary daughter, Angela Heggins; two brothers, L.C. (Melba) Armstrong and Michael Armstrong of St. Louis, Mo.; three sisters, Berdine (John) Morrison of Rock Island, Ill., Sandra (Ray) Russell of O’Fallon, Ill., Nina (James) Dorsey of St. Louis, Mo.; one honorary grandson, Andre Heggins of Dallas, Texas; eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Friday, March 11, from 5-7 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, March 12, at First Baptist Church in Joiner. Burial will be at Whiteside Cemetery in Osceola with Dr. Clifton Taylor Jr. officiating. Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola is in charge of arrangements.
