Nedra Jean (Briley) Casey Jones

Nedra Jean (Briley) aka Casey Jones, 78, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 22, 2022, at NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro. She was born Dec. 23, 1943, in Blytheville, the daughter of the late Claude and Ruby (Collier) Briley. She was 78 years 1 month and 30 days of age.

Nedra graduated from Blytheville High School in 1961 and attended Mississippi County Community College where she received her Associates Degree. Nedra was a very artistic person. With this talent and passion for art and entrepreneurship she built an online business using her gift. She enjoyed spending time with her five nieces and nephews and the family dogs. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Blytheville. She was loved and will be deeply missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Claude and Ruby, and her brother-in-law, Barry Riddick.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her sister, Teresa Riddick of Steele, Mo.; one niece, Leslie Wolfe, and her husband Jay of Chesterfield, Mo.; one nephew, Michael B. Riddick Jr., and his wife Mallory of Steele, Mo.; five great-nieces and nephews, Keegan Riddick, Briley Wolfe, Kiley Wolfe, Maddox Wolfe, and Rhett Riddick.

Funeral services were held Saturday, Feb. 26, at 2 p.m. at the John W. German Funeral Home in Steele, Mo., with Pastor Ryan West officiating. Interment was in Elmwood Cemetery in Blytheville.

John W. German Funeral Home of Steele, Mo., was in charge of arrangements.
