Charlotte Marie House

Charlotte Marie House, 79, of Hixson, Tenn., passed away Feb. 28, 2022, at her residence. She was a retired hairdresser. Mrs. House was born June 9, 1942, in Osceola to John C. and Correan Blaylock Davis. She was married Aug. 20, 1966. Mrs. House lived in Illinois for 55 years and moved to Tennessee in April 2021. She was preceded in death by her parents; her siblings, Arvil (Violet) Davis, Ellis Ray (Lou) Davis, Eunice (Lee) Bruton, Jean (John) Herron, Jimmy (Shirley) Davis, Charles (Sharon) Davis, Emmett Davis, Ruth Twaddle, Modine Davis, Odell Davis, Lillian Brooks and Estell Jackson.

She is survived by her husband, James "Bud" House of Hixon, Tenn., (formerly of Tomato); two sons, Jasper (Brenda) Herron of Rockton, Ill., and Emmitt Ray Herron of Beloit, Wis.; one daughter, Jamie (Joe) Baker of Murfreesboro, Tenn.; 14 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Friday, March 4, from 6-8 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola. Funeral services will be Saturday, March 5, at 10 a.m. Burial will be at Bassett Cemetery in Bassett with Bro. Mitch McClure officiating. Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola is in charge of arrangements.
