Mary Ann (Jensen) Wright

Mary Ann (Jensen) Wright, 87, of Gosnell, passed from the cares of this life on Feb. 21, 2022, at Gosnell Healthcare.

Mary Ann was born to the late August William Jensen and Mary Olive De Camp Jensen in Cordova, Neb. She graduated from York High School in Nebraska and was a member of First United Methodist Church. Mary loved to sew, crochet, and cook for her family.

Mary Ann was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Robert Jensen, Allen Jensen, James Jensen, Gale Jensen, and August Jensen; and sisters, Lorraine Darling, Betty Lewis, and Marilyn Lorentz.

Mary is survived by her loving husband Lloyd R. Wright of the home; her children, Lloyd Wright Jr. of Dublin, Ireland, Teresa and Blake Phillips of Malvern, Carol Creason Tulsa, Okla., Mary E. and Earl Ervin of Blytheville and Connie Wright and Toni Singletary of Austin, Texas; brothers, Joey Jensen of York, Neb., Donald Jensen of Norman, Okla., and Gary Jensen of Salina, Kan.; sisters, Marjorie Lundy of York, Neb., Carrol Anderson of Colorado Springs, Colo., Deanna Reetz of York, Neb., and Edith Stewart of Northfolk, Neb.; 11 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, Feb. 25, at 10:30 a.m. at Cobb Funeral Home with Rev. Zach Roberts officiating. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends at 9:30 a.m. until service time. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Research Center.
