Ruth H. Odom

Ruth H. Odom, 57, of Joiner passed away Feb. 12, 2022, at her residence. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Odom was born Jan. 17, 1965, in St. Louis, Mo., to Barry and Mary L. Mason Odom Sr. She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Brandon Odom; one daughter, Brandy Nicole Odom; three brothers, Charles Harbison, William Dale Harbison and Bruce Smith; and one sister, Wilma Sue Hicks.

She is survived by her husband, Barry Odom Jr. of Joiner; two sons, Barry (April) Odom III of Joiner and William (Toni) Harbison of Joiner; one daughter, Mary (Billy) Campbell of Luxora; one daughter-in-law, Abigail Odom of Osceola; one sister, Sally Scaggs of Sylvia, Mo.; three grandchildren that she raised, Brylee Lowery, Dewayne Lowery and Julia Odom; fourteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Tuesday, Feb. 15, from 6-8 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola. Funeral services will be Wednesday, Feb. 16, at 2 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola. Burial will be at Bassett Cemetery in Bassett with Bro. Gary Andrews officiating. Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola is in charge of arrangements.
