John Edward Harvey

John Edward Harvey of Blytheville was born Jan. 10, 1957, to the late Cleveland Harvey and the late Rosie Lee Hardin Harvey. He was a worker for American Greetings and was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Harvey passed away Feb. 6, 2022, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro at the age of 65. He was preceded in death by his father, Cleveland Harvey; his mother, Rosie Lee Hardin Harvey; wife Joyce Harvey; four brothers, Oscar Shelly, Cleveland Harvey, Jr., Robert Lee Harvey and Charlie Harvey; one sister, Lee Esther Harvey Cook; and a bonus son, Steven Jerome Woodard.

He is survived by three daughters, Iesha Harvey of Blytheville, Kim Peoples Sanders of Jacksonville and Kimley Jackson of Little Rock; a bonus son, Billy Furlow of Illinois; one brother, Walter Harvey of Blytheville; seven nieces, Shirley, Wanda, Clarissa, Pam, Cassandra, Angie and Maycola; and eight grandchildren.

The visitation will be held Saturday, Feb. 19, from 12-2 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home Blytheville, with the funeral immediately following at 2 p.m. Elder James Jones will be officiating. The burial will be held at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Blytheville. Services are provided by Wilson Funeral Home Blytheville.
