Omie Opal Lee Michael Green

Omie Opal Lee Michael Green, 85, of Jonesboro passed away Feb. 13, 2022, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro. She was a retired factory worker and of the Baptist faith. Ms. Green was born March 27, 1936, in Tuscombee, Ala., to Robert Lee and Lilly West Michael. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, David Green,; one son, Larry Green; one daughter, Peggy Brooks; seven brothers, Frank Burnette, James Michael, Obie Michael, Robie Michael, Leonard Michael, Rayburn Michael, Clark Michael; four sisters, Hazel Michael, Gladdis Middleton, Lucille Middleton and Birdie.

She is survived by two sons, Glen (Karen) Green of Gosnell and Donnie Lee Green of Jonesboro; one daughter, Margie Taylor of Jonesboro; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Visitation services will be held Tuesday, Feb. 15, from 12-1:30 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. at Sandy Ridge Cemetery in Burdette with Bro. Jason Glenn officiating. Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola is in charge of arrangements.
