Cora Lee Kirkwood Gates

Cora Lee Kirkwood Gates was born Oct. 15, 1946, to Willie Blumingburg and Bertha Lee Knox Blumingburg in Earle. She departed this life on Feb. 11, 2022, at her home in Blytheville at the age of 75.

She is survived by one daughter, Tandra Kirkwood of St. Louis, Mo.; five sons, Andre Kirkwood of Chicago, Ill., Pierre Kirkwood and Spanarda Kirkwood, both of St. Louis, Mo., Markarios Kirkwood of Milwaukee, Wis., and Antoine Kirkwood of Austin, Texas; two sisters, Bobbie Robinson of Blytheville and Jessie Lard; 10 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and a host of and other relatives and friends

Visitation will be held Saturday, Feb. 19, from 11:00-11:55 a.m. at Eternal Salvation Pentecostal. Service will follow at 1:00 p.m. with burial at Sandy Ridge Cemetery Burdette.
