Linda Rose Higgs, 74, of Blytheville, went to be with the Lord on Dec. 11, 2021, at Regional One Medical Center in Memphis, Tenn.

Born to Delbert and Ann Roberts Loyd, Linda was a graduate of Gosnell High School. After working 33 years, she retired from the Arkansas Department of Human Services. She was a member of Grace Life Church where she worked and enjoyed her time. Her motto was to “Fill in the Gap.” Linda enjoyed singing and karaoke, especially her favorite song “Coal Miner’s Daughter.”

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Harry Higgs.

Linda is survived by her daughter, Melinda Wood (Robert) of West Henrietta, N.Y.; two sisters, Carol Burris (Gary) of Blytheville and Rita Loyd-Davis and Dawn of Brockwell; four grandchildren, Caitlin Wasko (Stephen), Allison, Rachel, and Bethany Judah; and one great-grandson, Hunter Wasko.

Funeral services will be held Friday, Dec. 17, at 2 p.m. in the Cobb Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ronnie Hayse officiating. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until service time at Cobb Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made in Linda’s memory to Grace Life Church, 1501 East Moultrie, Blytheville, Arkansas 72315.
