Geraldine Dillard

Geraldine Dillard, 71, of Blytheville, formerly of Manila, passed from this life Sunday, July 11, 2021, at Arkansas Continued Care Hospital in Jonesboro. Born and raised in Manila, she was the daughter of the late Walter Scott and Ollie Mae Rogers Williams and had been a Blytheville resident since 1991. Geraldine was a homemaker, but many years ago had been employed by Bush Canning Company, formerly of Blytheville. She enjoyed outdoor activities, especially fishing, and was of the Pentecostal faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Tammy Lynn Carter, in January, 2021.  

She is survived by her husband of 30 years, William "Bubba" Dillard of the home; sister, Mary Louise Williams of Manila; grandsons, Jonathan Edwards (Diana) and Chase Edwards. She also leaves six great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday in the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Manila.  Burial will follow in the Manila Cemetery. The family will receive visitors Thursday from noon until service time.
