Linda Kay Kirby

Linda Kay Kirby, 68, of Marked Tree died April 6, 2021, at St. Bernards Hospital in Jonesboro. She was a homemaker and of the Pentecostal faith. Miss Kirby was born May 24, 1952, in Marked Tree to Alvie King and Jamie Katherine Palmer Kirby. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, James Alvie Kirby, and two sisters, Wanda Smith and Wilma McClain.

She is survived by one daughter, Jennifer (Jimmy) Carpenter of Marked Tree; six brothers, Bob Kirby of Wynne, Jerry Kirby of Marmaduke, Gary Kirby, Dean Kirby, Larry Kirby and Alvie Kirby, Jr. of Paragould; three sisters, Lillie Jones of Harrisburg, Mammie Wood of Waterloo, Ala., and Dorothy Sandy of Gainesville, Ga.; five grandchildren, Garrett, Jayla, Dallas, Emilee and Noah Carpenter, all of Marked Tree.

Funeral service was April 10 at Wilson Funeral Home in Tyronza. Burial was at Marked Tree Cemetery with Brother David Busby officiating.

Wilson Funeral Home in Tyronza was in charge of all arrangements.
