Mae Lee Greenberry Stringer

Mae Lee Greenberry Stringer was born July 4, 1940 in Luxora to Isiah and Louise McDonald Greenberry. She was a 1960 graduate of Richard B. Harrison High School and was a charter member of the Harrisonites, Inc. where she served as the past president of the organization. Mae Lee was retired from ACCO Industries and the Mississippi County Senior Citizen Center. She was of the spiritual faith and was an active and faithful member of Greater Jeremiah Temple Spiritual Church of Christ where she worked to win souls for Christ as a missionary.

On Tuesday, March 9, 2021, Mae Lee passed away at Methodist Le Bonheur Hospital in Olive Branch, Miss., at the age of 80. She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Willie B. Davis and Wallace Stringer; three brothers, Odell Greenberry, Forrest Greenberry and John Greenberry; and one sister, Gora Jenkins.

She leaves precious memories in the hearts of her son and daughter-in-law, Minister Jimmy and Jackie Davis of Olive Branch, Miss.; one brother, Jimmy Greenberry of Blytheville; one sister, Cordell Gillespie of Jacksonville, Fla.; three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; many nieces nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held Friday, March 19, from 5-7 p.m. at McDonald-Horne Funeral Home 1207 South Division, Blytheville.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, March 20, at 12:00 noon at Greater Jeremiah Spiritual Church of Christ, 1100 South Lake Street, Blytheville. Bishop Carl Logan will deliver the eulogy with burial to follow at Gethsemane Gardens Cemetery.

Following the State of Arkansas COVID-19 guidelines, the practice of social distancing, keeping a 6-foot distance between one another and wearing face masks are required to enter the building and to be worn at all times.
