Jimmy Ray Smith

Jimmy Ray Smith, 70, of Bono died Nov. 30, 2020, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro. He was a roofer. Mr. Smith was born Oct. 6, 1950, in Lauderdale, Ala., to Homer and Nellie Scott Smith. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Charles Smith and J.L. Smith; two sisters, Nancy Smith and Ivie Dean Russell.

He is survived by two sons, Randy Smith of Fort Pierce, Fla., and Jake William Smith of Trumann; one daughter, Melissa Smith Marshall of Okeechobee, Fla; three brothers, Edward Smith of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and Jerry Smith and Billy Smith of Marked Tree; two sisters, Josie Hatley and Mary Burchfield of Trumann; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were Dec. 3 at Wilson Funeral Home in Tyronza with Reverend Hill officiating. Burial was at Marked Tree Cemetery in Marked Tree.

Wilson Funeral Home in Tyronza was in charge of arrangements.
