James Roy Cook, 57, of Blytheville, died Nov. 21, 2020, at Great River Medical Center in Blytheville. He was a self employed truck driver, of the Baptist faith and was married to Karen for 30 years. Mr. Cook was born Aug. 22, 1963, in Wilson to LeeRoy Cook and Martha Farrar Brewer. He was preceded in death by his father, LeeRoy Cook; one son, LeeRoy Martin Cook; and one brother, Michael Shane "Lee" Cook.

He is survived by his mother, Martha Brewer of Manila; his wife, Karen Cook of Blytheville; five sons, Aaron Cook, James (Ashley) Cook and Michael (Amber) Cook of Blytheville, Paul (Cecilia) Cook of Gosnell and James R. (Amber) Cook of Oklahoma City, Okla.; four daughters, Ariana Cook, Cheyenne Cook and Heather Cook of Blytheville and Wendy (Patrick) Cook Restar of Whitehall; two brothers, Donald (Dell) Smith and Derrick (Crystal) Smith of Leachville; seven sisters, Bobbie Cook of Gosnell, Martha "Cricket" Fisher (Jimmy) of Blytheville, Yvette Parrish of Yakima, Wash., Tresia "Sissy" (Dewayne) Seaton of Burdette, Shirley Cisco of Prescott, Mary "Bubble" Wilder of Conway and Mary Lynn (Harvey) Emmons of Bono; and nine grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 24, at Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola. Funeral will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 25, at Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola. Burial will be at Memory Gardens in Blytheville with Bro. Stan Dutton officiating. Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola is in charge.
