Loretta M. Brown

Loretta M. Brown was born to the late Frank Davis Sr. and Madelyn Moore on April 1, 1960, in Hughes. Loretta departed this life on Monday, Oct. 12, 2020, at Baptist Hospital in West Memphis at the age of 60. She was preceded in death by her parents.

She leaves to cherish her memories, eight brothers, Kenneth Lee Moore of Colorado Springs, Colo., Melvin Heath of Osceola, Frank Charles Davis Jr., Nathan Lee Davis, JD Davis, all of Houston, Texas, LTC (Ret) Robert E. Davis of Dallas, Texas, James L. Davis and Melvin Davis, both of Hughes; three sisters, Alice Moore of Jonesboro, Vertis Daliz of Marion and Florine Williams of Chicago, Ill.; one aunt, Ruth Boyce of Osceola; one uncle, Ira Lee Steele of West Memphis; a special cousin, Loretta Williams of West Memphis; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until 12:55 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 24, at New Salem Missionary Baptist Church, 1300 E. State Highway 158, Osceola. Service will follow at 1 p.m. Burial will follow at Whiteside Cemetery, Osceola.
