Tickets being pre-sold for highly anticipated Blytheville-Gosnell football game

Tuesday, October 13, 2020

The much anticipated football game between Blytheville and Gosnell is scheduled for 7 p.m., Friday at Haley Field.

As with all games this year, there will be a limited number of tickets available to allow for social distancing guidelines.

According to Blytheville High School athletic director Donald Davis, tickets will be pre-sold and they are $5 each.

He said senior high football, cheer, and band will be allowed to buy tickets Wednesday afternoon at practice; bring the correct change.

Then tickets will be sold to Blytheville High School students Thursday morning, from 7:45-9:45, at the high school.

BHS virtual students can buy tickets from 7:55-8:15 a.m., Wednesday in the high school lobby.

If there are still any left after that, they will be sold to the community at Chickasaw Arena Thursday, from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

Gosnell School District will receive 200 vouchers for the game as the visiting school.

Pirate fans must have a voucher to be able to purchase tickets.

“There have been a few counterfeit tickets used at previous games,” Davis said. “Be very careful if you buy tickets from someone other than a school employee at the designated times. Any counterfeit tickets we receive at future games will be confiscated, the holder of said ticket will be denied admittance, and the school administration will deal with them appropriately.”
