Friday, September 25, 2020

The Blytheville Chickasaws were scheduled to host Junction City on Friday night, but Junction City cancelled hours before the game because of COVID-19 issues.

The Chicks (1-2) were originally scheduled to play Cave City in the 4A-3 opener Friday night, but the Cavemen cancelled as well, leading to Blytheville scheduling the game with 2A power Junction City.

Blytheville is scheduled to host Westside at 7 p.m., Friday, Oct. 2 in what will be the Chicks’ first game in the 4A-3 conference.

Blytheville dropped to Class 4A this year.
