Barbara Ann Teas

Barbara Ann Teas, 86, of Drasco, passed from this life Tuesday, Sept. 1, 2020, at the Beebe Retirement Center. Born in Cardwell, Mo., she was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Mary Jane Grady Burrell and a 1952 graduate of Cardwell High School. She had been employed by Maybelline and General Electric when she and her family lived in Memphis. She later made her home in Drasco where she lived for 48 years. While living there she had been employed by Aromatique in Herber Springs. Barbara enjoyed gardening, being outdoors and caring for her animals of all kinds including chickens, geese, dogs and cats. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Bruce Burrell.

Survivors include two sons, Robert Peace and wife Debbie of Mountain Home, Idaho, and Mike Peace and his wife LeeAnn of Collierville, Tenn.; three daughters, Cheryl Fellows of Endicott, N.Y., Margie Farrell and husband Chris of Nampa, Idaho, and Bobbi Stevens of McRae; one brother, Frank Burrell of Camden; four sisters, Bonnie Burrell of Cardwell, Mo., Demetra Laffoon of Cape Girardeau, Mo., Louise Davidson of Monticello and Brenda Mullen of Faulkner, Miss. She also leaves 12 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.

Graveside funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 5, in the Cardwell Cemetery under the direction of Howard Funeral Service. In compliance with state guidelines, social distancing will be practiced at all times.
