Eddie Dean Williams

Eddie Dean Williams of Gosnell was born July 15, 1951, in Benton Harbor, Mich., to the late Claudie Brown Williams, Sr. and the late Dovie Stewart Williams. He was a factory and construction worker and was of a non-denominational faith. Mr. Williams passed away Aug. 2, 2020, at his home in Gosnell at the age of 69. He is preceded in death by his father, Claudie Brown Williams, Sr.; his mother, Dovie Stewart Williams; one daughter, Laquila Williams; four brothers, Claudie Williams, Jr., Melvin Williams, Thomas Williams and Randy Williams; six sisters, Doris Grimes, Carrie Williams, Odessie Gaston, Ruth Baston, Donna Washington and Francine Jackson.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia Williams of Gosnell; his son, Edward Dewayne McCray of Saginaw, Mich.; two daughters, Vicki Clark (Quenton) of Blytheville and Tameko Gaston of Gosnell; three brothers, Eric Williams of Saginaw, Mich., Ronnie Williams of Lansing, Mich., and Mark Williams of Piggott; five sisters, Virginia Mhoon and Delores Kelly, both of Blytheville, Della Reddick and Anita Whitfield, both of Osceola, and Mary Bennett of St. Louis, Mo.; four grandchildren and two great grandchildren. The visitation will be held from 12-1:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 8, at the Christ Family Christian Church in Blytheville with a graveside funeral service following at 2 p.m. at Gethsemane Memorial Cemetery in Blytheville, Pastor Fred Wright officiating. Services are provided by Wilson Funeral Home Blytheville.
