Wyatt Levin Boxley

Wyatt Levin Boxley, 15, of Lepanto, departed this life on Friday, June 12, 2020. He was born on June 22, 2004, to Robert Wyatt Boxley and Laura Beth Simmons in Jonesboro.

Wyatt was an 11th grade honor student at EPC and a member of the National Honor Society. He loved football and basketball, he played for the EPC Warriors and Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) basketball for the last three years. Wyatt grew up going to church at First United Methodist Church in Marked Tree. He was saved and baptized at the First Baptist Church in Marked Tree and he enjoyed going to youth group at the First Baptist Church in Lepanto. Wyatt loved going to the lake and the beach. He enjoyed bowfishing, frog gigging, riding around and spending time with his friends. He loved all kids but he especially loved his nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Robert Medley and John Edward Boxley, and grandmother, Martha Simmons.

Wyatt is survived by his parents, Laura and David Simmons of Lepanto and Robert Boxley of Marked Tree; grandparents, Noryce Medley of Mountain View, Ruby Jean Boxley of Marked Tree and Clyde Simmons of Lepanto; four sisters, Jennifer Paige Williams (Anquion) of Marked Tree, Lindsay Michelle Constant of Brookland, Casey Diane Dawson (James) of Marked Tree and Julia Shaw Hudspeth of Lepanto; two aunts, Susan Galzerano (Tony) of Heber Springs and Sheila Boxley of Sacramento, Calif.; one uncle, John Edward Boxley, Jr. of Marked Tree; five nieces and nephews, Harlyn, Caysen, Raleigh, Haisley and Granger; and a host of other family and friends.

A memorial service was held Saturday, June 20, at the EPC Football Stadium in Lepanto at 7 p.m. COVID-19 guidelines were followed.

Arrangements were under the care of Delancey-Murphy Funeral Home in Lepanto.
