Rebecca Ann Caviness, 60, of Bono, passed away Sunday May 24, 2020, at her home.

Rebecca was born in Blytheville to John and Eloise Bullard Roden. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. Rebecca loved photography and enjoyed taking pictures of her family and making photo albums to share with them. Rebecca was a happy, free spirited person who always lit up the room. She loved her family and spending time with her children and grandchildren, who were the lights of her life.

She was preceded in death by her father, John Roden.

Rebecca leaves her husband, Nathaniel “Butch” Caviness of Bono; two children, Eric Caviness and his wife Chasity of Crawfordsville, Ind., and Brandy Cowan and her husband Johnathan of Jonesboro; her mother, Eloise Roden of Jonesboro; brother, John Roden, Jr. and his wife Connie of Hendersonville, N.C.; sister, Donna E. Brister and her husband Steve of Jonesboro; and eight grandchildren, Elijah, Xander, Nicholas, Neela, and Keena Cowan and Aspen, Liberty and Brooklyn Caviness.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 27, at 10 a.m. in the Cobb Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends from 9 a.m. until service time at Cobb Funeral Home. The family requests memorials be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Following the State of Arkansas COVID-19 guidelines, no more than 50 people will be allowed to gather inside of Cobb Funeral Home at one time and practice social distancing, keeping a 6-foot distance between one another.
