Viola Brown

Viola Brown, 77, of Joiner, died Dec. 12, 2019, at her home. She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church in Frenchman Bayou. Miss Viola was born March 26, 1942, in Frenchman Bayou to XL and Willie B. Johnson Brown. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Sammie McNeal and Billy Brown, and one sister Leola Turner.

She is survived by her companion Earnest Hill of Joiner; two sons, Johnny Brown and Tommy Brown of Joiner; three daughters, Kenya Brown of Jonesboro, Shauntell Brown of Blytheville and Betty Brown of Joiner; three brothers, Johnny Brown of Joiner, James Brown of Osceola and X.L. Brown of Oakland, Calif.; two sisters, Alberta Brown and Verla Brown of Joiner; 24 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren.

Funeral will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 21, at First Baptist Church in Frenchman Bayou. Burial will be at First Baptist Cemetery in Frenchman Bayou with Rev. Jimmy Johnson officiating. Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola is in charge.
