Lynn Royal Clark

Lynn Royal Clark of Monette very peacefully took his last breath on earth and his first in heaven on Monday evening, Oct. 7, 2019, with his family by his side. He was born Jan. 12, 1942 in Rockford, Ill., to the late Royal John and Evelyn Lenora (Fosler) Clark.

Lynn was a true a patriot in every sense of the word. He served as United States Army Military Police in Vietnam. The Clark home always had the American flag flying. He was extremely proud of the service that he gave to his country and was never seen without sporting his veteran's hat and t-shirt. Lynn will always be remembered as a hard working, honest, trustworthy man that collected '57 Chevys. He loved the outdoors, camping and spending quality time with family at Cherokee Village. He was a dedicated, proud father and grandpa that adored his grandchildren. He was so proud of all of them. Lynn was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Manila.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Royal John and Evelyn Lenora (Fosler) Clark.

Lynn is survived by his wife, Peggy Clark, of Monette; two daughters Kerrie Dixon (Perry Jr.) of Dell and Stacy Weinmann (Ken) of Oklahoma City, Okla.; five grandchildren, Troy Misner (Jen) of Dell, Kendra Tomboli (Seth) of Little Rock, Skyler Weinmann of Little Rock, Luke Dixon (Kailen) of Dell, Olivia Weinmann of Oklahoma City, Okla.; four great-grandchildren, Joie Beth Misner and Millie Misner of Dell, Zayne Tomboli of Little Rock, Wrynlie Misner of Dell and baby Dixon due in March; his twin brother, Lyle Loyal Clark (Vesta) of Davis, Ill.; sister, Shirley Clark Stein of German Valley, Ill.; and brother Royce Clark of Potosi, Wis.; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

In honoring Lynn’s wishes the family received friends and family on Wednesday, Oct. 9, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the home of Perry Jr. and Kerrie Dixon located at 2792 North County Road 503 in Dell.
