Victor Thomas Chapman, 80, of Blytheville passed at his home on Monday, Aug. 5, 2019. He was born in Goodman, Miss., on Oct. 4, 1938, to Ziner and Blanchie Wise Chapman. He was a member of Open-Door House of Prayer under the leadership of Bishop Henry Mays and retired from the Blytheville Housing Authority where he worked in maintenance.

He leaves to forever cherish his memories nine daughters, Doris Marie Chapman of Charlotte, N.C., Brenda Chapman of Indianapolis, Ind., Anita (Clarence) Williams of Fresno, Calif., Emma (Stanley) Almon of Dallas, Texas, Patricia Chapman (Robert Minor) of Ft. Worth, Texas, April Chapman of Nashville, Tenn., Sarina (Leonard) Sing- Williams of Ft. Worth, Texas, and Mallorie Sing of Euless, Texas ; six sons, Christopher (Natalia) Chapman of Sikeston, Mo., Joseph (Yvette) Chapman of Jonesboro, Andre Chapman of Nashville, Tenn., Odaya Chapman and Victor Chapman, both of Blytheville, Justin (Claudia) Day of Los Vegas, Nev.; one sister, Anna Ruth Gisby of Chicago, Ill.; 51 grandchildren, many great- grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday, Aug. 12, at Nehemiah Temple Church of God in Christ, 121 West McHaney Street, Blytheville. Bishop Henry Mays will deliver the eulogy and burial will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral service.
