Jerrie Ann Haley Arms Cotton

Jerrie Ann Haley Arms Cotton, 62, of Trumann, passed from this life Tuesday, April 30, 2019, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro. Born in Kennett, Mo., she was the daughter of the late Jerry and Dora Ann Talbot Haley and had been a longtime Trumann resident. She was a 1974 graduate of Trumann High School and was a longtime employee of the former Trumann Democrat where she worked as editor for many years. She was also the former owner of Jerri's Ad Service.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, Johnathan Cotton and Jeremy Cotton; one daughter, Crystal Cotton; her estranged husband, Edward Lee Arms; and her beloved fur baby Abby.

Survivors include her husband, John Cotton of Des Moines, Iowa; two daughters, Haley "Brooke" Pyburn (Jeremy) of Paragould and Raven Cloninger (Wade) of Bay; stepdaughter, Rhonda Armstrong of Trumann; three sisters, Lisa Richardson of Trumann, Regina McGuire of Jonesboro and Sandra Mullins of Trumann. She also leaves five grandchildren, Skylar Arms, Ashlynn Pyburn, Alexis Cloninger, Raiden "Bubba" Cloninger and Michael Riley.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday, May 5, at the First General Baptist Church in Trumann with Pastor Bobby Brooks and Rev. Darrel Miller officiating.

Serving as pallbearers will be Wade Cloninger, Jeremy Pyburn, Grady McGuire, Robbie Deason, Greg Haley, Kerry Fowler and Billy Cotton. Burial will follow in the Nettleton Cemetery in Jonesboro.

The family will receive visitors Friday from noon until service time at the church.
