Clarence Woody, 76, of Proctor, passed away Thursday, August 23, 2018 at his residence.

Clarence was born in Blytheville to Joe Elmer and Vernie (Davis) Woody. He was a diesel mechanic and owner/operator of C&R Diesel. He was of Christian Faith and a past employee of Proctor and Gamble. Clarence loved working on things and helping people. He planted gardens just so people could go and help themselves. He also enjoyed watching westerns.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Shirley Ann Neal Woody; three brothers, Charles Woody, Bobby Woody and Will Woody; and two sisters, Anita Rickmon and Shirley Leggett.

Clarence leaves three children, Michael Woody, of Proctor, Bryan Woody (Tori), of West Memphis, and Donna Thomas (Gary), of Lumberton, TX; and 6 grandchildren, Barry Thomas, Josh Thomas, Ryan Woody, Kayla Woody, Chesney Woody and Ethan Woody.

He also leaves one brother, James Woody (Ellen) of Missouri; two sisters, Tricia Allen (Chuck) of Minneapolis, MN and Cathy Wilson of Missouri; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Monday, August 27th at 1:00 p.m. in the Cobb Funeral Home Chapel with Raymond Britt officiating. Burial will follow in Dogwood Cemetery.
