Harold Dean Morgan, Sr., 81, of Huntingdon, Tenn., formerly of Manila, passed from this life Friday, March 25, 2016, at the Jackson-Madison Hospital in Jackson, Tenn. Born in Manila, he was the son of the late Connie and Victoria McCracken Morgan and had lived in Arkansas and Missouri several years before making his home in Tennessee nine years ago. Although he worked in construction for several years, the occupation he loved the most was farming in Marianna and Harrisburg. He had been a member of the Marianna Missionary Baptist Church and when he lived in Harrisburg, he drove the church van for the Baptist Church he attended.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Nowlin, in 2015; one grandson, Harold Morgan, III; two brothers and two sisters.

Survivors include one son, Harold Morgan, Jr. and wife Jessie of Bonne Terre, Mo.; two daughters, Melissa Ann Randolph and husband Jim of Arnold, Mo., and Vicki Diane Korkern and husband Claude of Huntingdon, Tenn.; sister, Betty Scott of Manila; four grandchildren and one great-grandson.

Graveside services will be 3 p.m. Tuesday, March 29, in the Manila Cemetery with Reverend Mike Holcomb officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Howard Funeral Service of Manila. The family will receive visitors from 1 p.m. until 2:45 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
