Nora J. Kemper McLeod-Brown
Mrs. Nora J. Kemper McLeod-Brown died Friday, Jan. 16,, 2015, at her home in Newman, Georgia, after a brave battle with cancer.
Born in Blytheville to the late Elmer C. and Arline Kemper, she was a 1963 graduate of Blytheville High School.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by one brother, James "Jimmy" Clayton.
Mrs. McLeod-Brown leaves her husband, Frank Brown of the home;
Two sons, Benny McLeod of Newman, Georgia, and Russel Trey Brown of North Adams, Massachusetts;
One sister, Dee (Joe) Black of Newman, Georgia;
Two brothers, Elmer A. (Melisa) Kemper of Blytheville and Ralph (Brenda) Kemper of Jackson, Mississippi;
Two granddaughters, Olivia and Gracie McLeod of Newman, Georgia;
Two nephews, Ronnie Fracchia of Newman, Georgia, and Blake Smith of Fort Smith;
Six nieces, Susan Beck and Denise Craine, both of Blytheville, Lena Harrington and Kyle Bover, both of Jackson, Michigan, Amanda Kemper of Senath, and Donna Clayton of Cooter; and
A host of great-nieces and nephews.
Memorial services were held Jan. 19 in Newman, Georgia.
