Community makes toy drive a success, again
To the editor:
We at Farmers Bank & Trust would like to thank all our customers who helped make this year's toy drive a huge success! I'm sure these children had a much nicer Christmas thanks to your generous donations.
Thank you to The Classic Car Club, Blytheville PEO, Dale at The Computer Terminal, Girl Scout Troop 3275, Nucor Roll Mill/Shipping Dept., H I S Ministries and Steve Southard, Kinder Morgan, Sudbury Broadcasting, Ritter Communication, The Courier News, Pat and Danny Harris, all our customers, too many to name, but you know who you are, and all the employees here at the bank who donated items and helped do the shopping.
Every year I have my doubts as to how the toy drive will go. Will we collect enough to make a difference? But I should never have these feelings, as the people here in our community always come through. Whether it is for the toy drive, our coat drive, Relay for Life or the school supply drive, you are there for us!
