Henry 'Doc' Jones Jr.

Mr. Henry "Doc" Jones Jr., 67, of Osceola, died Tuesday, Dec. 9, 2014, in his home.

Born in Osceola to Alice Ramsey Jones and the late Henry Jones Sr., he was known throughout the community for performing odd jobs as he rode his bicycle around. He swept the parking lots of businesses and whatever someone found for him to do.

Mr. Jones leaves five sisters, Dorothy Alexander of Cleveland, Ohio, Henrietta (Robert) Cherry of Blytheville, Shirley Jones of Richmond, Virginia, Sheneka (Justin) Weathers of Little Rock, and Juanita Jones of Sikeston;

One brother, Kenneth Jones of Osceola; and

A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.

Funeral services will be held at noon Monday at Bethlehem Baptist Church with Dr. Moses Black officiating. Burial will follow at Sandy Ridge Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 11 a.m.-noon Monday.
