Mrs. Denice Key has gone to be with her beloved husband, Sam. She never allowed her two daughters to say mean, hurtful things to each other and as a result, Denice leaves behind a small, but loving family. They include two daughters, JoAnne Worsham of Joiner and Janet Clifton and her husband, Darrell, of Wilmot;

Janet's two sons, Richard and Jeff and his wife, Missy, and their children, Alli, Sam and Sophie;

JoAnne's two daughters, Melissa Worsham and her children, Brayden, Reagan and Jaxon; and

Janna Johnson and her son, Matthew.

Mrs. Key was a faithful member of the Joiner United Methodist Church for 54 years where she taught Sunday school and she belonged to the United Methodist Women and her church's prayer group.

After retiring from teaching elementary school at Shawnee in Joiner, she was a leader in a Bible study that local women in the area participated in.

Mama, Mammaw, Denice and Mrs. Key, as she was known by all, has gone to her heavenly home.

Visitation will be held from 1-2 p.m. Saturday at Joiner United Methodist Church. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Joiner United Methodist Church with the Rev. Janice Williams officiating. Burial will follow at Mississippi County Memorial Gardens in Osceola.

Honorary pallbearers are Kenneth Shannon, James Brownlee, Larry Joe Bell and O.W. Speck; active pallbearers are Ismael Herrera, Peyton Speck, Jeff Clifton, Richard Clifton, Austin Williams and Zack Chandler.
