Essie Ellis

Essie Ellis, 93, died Thursday, July 24, 2008 at Lakeside Nursing Center. She was born June 10, 1915, in Michigan to the late Archie and Hazel Lezotte.

She is survived by a son, Edwin F. Ramsey, Sr. of Caraway; four grandchildren, Anita Hurst, Pamela Milligan, Edwin Ramsey, Jr., Vincent Ramsey; nine great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild.

She was also preceded in death by a grandson, Walter James Ramsey.

Burial will be in Michigan.
