Dorris Sue Morrow - Beech Grove

Dorris Sue Morrow, 61, of Beech Grove, died Sunday, Feb. 2, 2003, at her residence. Born April 23, 1941, at Stanford, she was a retired social worker and former owner of Morrow's Grocery. She was a member of Commissary Church of Christ.

She is survived by her husband, Jerry Morrow of Beech Grove; two sons and daughters-in-law, Keith and Wanda Morrow of Beech Grove and Mark and LeAnn Morrow of Jonesboro; six grandchildren, Jessica, Baylee, Ashlee, Mikah, Lydia and Mason Morrow; a brother, Jones Shaffer of Hardy; a sister, Connie Gill of Beech Grove.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Maudie Doughty Shaffer, and a brother, J.M. Shaffer.

The funeral was held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Mitchell Funeral Home Chapel with Phil Wilkerson, L.R. Smith and Darrell Austin officiating. Burial was in Morrow Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Michael Rippy, Ted Spillman, Wes Gill, Brad Clark, Allen Crosno and Jeff Gill.

Mitchell Funeral Home of Paragould was in charge of arrangements.
