Henry William Wesley Hicks - Blytheville

Henry William Wesley Hicks, 82, of Blytheville, died Nov. 21, 2002, at the Baptist Memorial Hospital in Blytheville. Born at Hornersville, he was the son of the late William and Virgie Rhodes Hicks and a former Manila area resident. He was a retired farmer and was a United States Army Veteran of World War II serving in the European Theatre. He was of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by two sons, Russell Hicks and Gerald Henry Hicks, both of St. Louis, Mo.; a brother, Bob Ray Hicks of Chesapeake, Va.; and a sister, Audrey Lester of Leachville.

The funeral was held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Howard Funeral Chapel in Manila with Rev. William Piercy officiating. Burial was in the Manila Cemetery.
