Veterans Paul Newell and Art Branch enjoyed returning to the former Blytheville Air Force Base on Saturday, Nov. 6, for the fly-in. The air base is where their friendship started over 50 years ago. Paul, a native of Texarkana, and Art, a native of Granite City, Ill., were serving in the U.S. Air Force in the early 1970s. They worked together as Art was a machinist and Paul was a welder. Both are Vietnam veterans. They did their share of working on the B52s here and abroad...
