It has been a long time since I had to name a newborn. When you think about it, that is an important thing to do because the names we choose will be with them throughout their lives. Even though it has been a half century, I still remember spending hours reading names from books with thousands of names listed. It was easier to mark off the ones I would never pick than pick out my favorite top 10. Then I would look into the meaning of names trying to make a final decision...
