Buffalo Island Central Board of Directors met in special session Tuesday to adopt a resolution for refunding school bonds. The board reviewed the final recap of the bond refunding agreement with First Security Beardsley Public Finance in Little Rock. The bond sale date was July 1, with refunding bonds maturing Feb. 1, 2028, with an interest rate of 1.959091% received from FHN Financial Capital Markets. At Tuesday’s regular Blytheville City Council meeting, city council members discussed whether or not it was best to meet in person or continue virtual Zoom meetings.
