Do we wish our lives away?

It seems we start wishing our lives away as soon as we can start making our own future plans. Up to the age of 10 we can't wait to be 13. I am not sure what I thought was going to be so great about turning 13 but I couldn't wait. I soon discovered the rules were still the same at my house for 12 or 13 year-olds...

How do you handle discouragement?

From what I have experienced, life in general is not the easiest thing to do. Discouragement is inevitable in that we do not control the things that happen to us, but only how we react to them. It is so easy to turn to negative things when you are feeling discouraged. Usually those negative things tend to make your situation worse than when it started...

BNSF’s $400K offer expires at end of year

Manila Council approves bond issue

Manila City Council met in a special called meeting Wednesday, approving an ordinance allowing the city to move forward with a bond issue.
