Apparently, at some point over the last several weeks, water has worked its insidious way into my car, no doubt during one of our recent torrential rainstorms.

Congratulations to the Lady Tigers of Armorel (JR). They placed first in the recent District Tournament. This is their eighth win as champs in a row! Good job girls.

Gosnell citizens, last week I had the opportunity of attending a town hall meeting called for by Mayor Don Marshall and his administration to discuss the pros and cons of the current mosquito program used in the city of Gosnell. The meeting was well-conducted, informative and answered a lot of questions of concerned citizens. I commend the mayor and his staff and hope future issues can be held in a similar fashion...

It is an old and very true saying that nature will always take back her own, and we are getting a big taste of that here in northeast Arkansas.
