Local teen killed in wreck

A one-vehicle accident Saturday afternoon claimed the life of a Blytheville teenager, according to a report from the Arkansas State Police. Mark Alan Nelson, 18, was killed when the westbound 2006 Nissan Maxima he was driving apparently failed to negotiate a curve, causing Nelson to overcorrect, sending the vehicle across the center line and off the roadway, where it overturned several times before hitting a utility pole. ...
