David Joe Ball

David Joe Ball, 62, of Cardwell, Mo., passed from this life Tuesday, May 30, 2023, at his home. Born in Cardwell, he was the son of Billy Joe and Gloria Jean Gibson Ball. David was raised in the Buckeye community and attended Leachville and Manila Public Schools. He was the manager of Buffalo Island Regional Water District and had worked there since 2000. David was of the Baptist faith and he enjoyed hunting, fishing and cooking and grilling for his family. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Connie Taylor Ball; one son, Mylo Ball (Sarah) of Jonesboro; one daughter, Constance Damon of Mountain Home; one brother, Wade Ball (Sandra) of Manila; two sisters, Alice Jackson and Donna Sue Ball, both of Paragould; three grandchildren, Jacob Damon, Ashton Damon and Reagan Ball.

Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, June 3, at the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Leachville with pastor David Price officiating. Burial will follow in the Cardwell Cemetery. Serving as active pallbearers will be Jacob Damon, Ashton Damon, Bobby Ball, Everett Ball, Josh Ball and Justin Jackson.
