Betty Jean Langley Harrison

Betty Jean Langley Harrison, 93, of Blytheville, passed away on May 25, 2023, in Virginia Beach, Vir., surrounded by her family.

Betty was a homemaker and Navy wife, but her proudest accomplishment was her marriage of 50 years, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She was blessed to have spent the last nine years of her life with them living in Virginia Beach. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

Betty was predeceased by her husband, Robert Harrison; and son, Bobby Harrison, and was the daughter of Edgar and Ethel (Hancock) Langley.

She is survived by her daughters, Charlotte Overcash and Jan Whitus (Jim); grandchildren, Tyler Overcash (Megan) of Ashburn, Vir., Roger Whitus (Georgette), Harrison Whitus, Kelsey Whitus; great-grandchildren, Arwen and Raven, all of Virginia Beach, Vir.; and several beloved nieces.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, June 1, at 11 a.m. in Dogwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at Cobb Funeral Home. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.cobbfuneralhome.com.
