Georgia M. Hopkins

Georgia M. Hopkins, 78, of Blytheville, died May 25, 2023, at her residence. She was born Sept. 9, 1944, in Armorel, to Rev. George Neal and Gladys Davis. Mrs. Hopkins retired from Milwaukee Tool as a factory worker and a member of Morning Star MB Church where she served as treasurer.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Victor Beaugard; three brothers, Sylvester Clendenen, George Robert Neal Jr. and Robert Holloman; three sisters, Maple Daniels, Barbara Washington and Rosa Lee Neal; two grandchildren, Dante Beaugard and Sharnice Johnson.

She is survived by two sons, Roy (Tracie) Beaugard and Darcy (Elizabeth) Beaugard, both of Blytheville; three daughters, Carolyn (Ricky) Brown of Memphis, Tenn., Rosalie (Edward) Lee of Portsmouth, Vir., and Daphne Dizadare of Blytheville; one sister, Margrie Watson of Benton Harbor, Mich.; as well as 17 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at Morning Star MB Church Saturday, June 3, from 9-10 a.m. with the funeral to follow. Pastor Frederick Clay will be officiating. Burial will be held at Gethsemane Cemetery in Blytheville. Wilson Funeral Home in Blytheville will oversee arrangements.
