Mary Grace Watson

Mary Grace Watson, 85, of Marked Tree, passed away May 17, 2023, at her home. She was born July 3, 1937, in Tyronza to Wallace and Mildred Terry Carter. She was a retired employee of Ritter Communications and a member of First Baptist in Tyronza. Mrs. Watson was preceded in death by her parents and two daughters, Debbie Carter and Terrie Grissom.

She is survived by her husband, Samuel Watson, of Tyronza; one son, Thomas “Wally” Lee of Marked Tree; one sister, Kay Carter of Stuttgart; five grandchildren, Courtney Harris, Austin Lee, Carter Lee, Jeremy Organ and Kelly Lee; 10 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation is Friday, May 19, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. with the funeral at 1 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Tyronza with Bro. Raymond Routon officiating. Burial is at Tyronza Cemetery in Tyronza. Wilson Funeral Home in Tyronza is in charge of the services.
